On October 15th, APAC’s Student Music Group gave a rousing performance during the International Book Fair of Mexico City 2019.
Around noon, at the Museo Nacional de las Culturas (National Museum of Different Cultures), our beneficiaries performed Sí se puede, an original and exciting piece. They later sang popular songs such as El ladrón, El rock de la cárcel and Como la flor.
For APAC, it’s very important that our Student Music Group performs in different spaces, which can help not only with inclusion of people with disabilities, but also with visibility.
Cony Cuevas, who arranged the performance, said that APAC’s participation was very significant for the Fair.
“They have made an effort to work on their voice and their music, so they are very special guests at this event,” she said. “We want to invite them every year, because it’s such a happy occasion to have them.”
