In 2018, APAC was recognized with the National Quality Award in the category of “Organizations with Impact on Sustainability” because of its work as a pioneer in comprehensive care of people with cerebral palsy.

The National Quality Award is the highest distinction for quality, competitivity and innovation of organizations.
President Enrique Peña Nieto hosted the ceremony, where each winner received its award. The plaque for APAC was received by Leonor Ortiz Monasterio (R.I.P.), then President of Board of Directors, and Gabriela Molina de Ruiz Funes, General Director.
