The results of the 2019 edition of ESRU Foundation’s Art Contest were announced on November 29th. Some of APAC’s beneficiaries, including children, youth and adults participated. The initiative strives to promote an interest in art among children and young people.
This year, Sofía Saldaña, beneficiary at APAC and primary school student, won third place in the 7-12 years old category. María Cristina del Rosario, part of the Visual Arts for Adults group, won first place in the special category for adults. And Mario Alberto Pérez, also from the Visual Arts for Adults group, received an honorary mention for his entry.
“This types of activities are very important in developing abilities and self-esteem in our beneficiaries,” said Josefa Lacambra, art teacher at APAC.
